Looking for a job? Not sure where to start on creating an effective resume and cover letter? Whether you’re applying for your first job, an internship, or a volunteer position, this workshop will help you feel ready and confident!

What You’ll Learn

• How to write a professional resume (even with little or no work experience!)
• Tips to create a strong cover letter that stands out
• How to highlight your skills, education, and strengths
• Common mistakes to avoid & insider tips from a career counsellor

Location: Bathurst-Finch Hub, 540 Finch Avenue West, Toronto, ON M2R 1N7 (Room1). Snacks and refreshments and transportation support provided.

This workshop is open to Newcomer Youth between ages 15- 18.
