An innovative 1-year program that gives adults with developmental disabilities the tools they need to thrive in the workplace and beyond.

RiseAbility is a new program designed to empower participants by developing essential employability skills, enhancing communication, fostering independent living skills, and promoting activity and inclusion within the greater community.

What We Offer

RiseAbility provides a structured and consistent learning environment with the specific needs of people with developmental disabilities in mind by focusing on:

• Identifying Individual Challenges

• Skill Development

• Professional assessments to track progress

• Education on employer expectations and workplace practices

• Hands-on workplace simulations and volunteer opportunities

• Individual and Family Involvement

• Guidance from experienced professionals

• Warm, welcoming and inclusive environment

Packages and Rates

This is a 1 year in person program. We offer flexible package options of 2, 3, or 5 days per week to accommodate individual needs and preferences. Participants can enroll in the program at the beginning of each quarter, i.e. January, April, July, October. Fees for service apply to all packages.

Full-Time
5 days/week: Mon – Fri
9:30 am to 3:30 pm

This program is open to individuals:

18 years of age or older
Diagnosed with developmental disabilities
Able to commute to and from the program site
Able to use transport for supervised outings, e.g. TTC or alternative transportation arrangements
