Women's Shelter Program

This program provides women at risk the opportunity to examine pre-employment and employment-related issues in a safe and supportive environment. Participants build confidence and self-esteem while developing the skills required to transition to employment.

Services

  • Assessments to identify personal style, interests, strengths, realistic career goals, training needs and potential occupations
  • Workshops to improve résumé and cover letter development, and job search, interview and networking skills
  • Life skills workshops

Eligibility

Women connected to the specified shelter in the Greater Toronto Area.
