Kohn Summer Intern Program 2010
This program in Jewish communal leadership is an innovative 10 week program for university and college students. Students are placed in professional positions in leading Jewish Agencies in the Greater Toronto Area. Students will gain valuable workplace experience, exposure to issues currently facing the Jewish community and opportunities for supervision and mentoring from Jewish community leaders.
Services
Interns are placed according to their interests and career goals. Potential work experiences include:
- Advocacy
- Counselling
- Direct service with youth, the elderly and persons with disabilities
- Educational programming
- Event/volunteer coordination
- Finance & accounting
- Fundraising
- Marketing & public relations
Eligibility
- Graduates and/or undergraduates who have completed at least one year of university or college and will be returning to school in September.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to the Jewish community and leadership qualities.
- Residents of the Greater Toronto Area.
- Not participated in a previous Kohn Summer Intern Program.
- Must be available to participate in the program from June 14th to August 20th

No cost to participant; All students are paid a stipend for their participation in the program.
