These centres provide job search assistance, information, and referrals to unemployed and underemployed individuals interested in finding meaningful employment.
Services
For Job Seekers
- Access to job search workshops that focus on career decision making and skills enhancement
- Review and critique of résumés and cover letters
- Individual employment counselling
- Free access to computers, Internet/email, telephones/fax machines and a library of labour market resources
- Information and referrals to community services and employment programs
For Community Agencies
- Free usage of professional facilities to hold meetings and special events
- Inter-agency partnerships to market community programs and help meet service outcomes
Eligibility
Open to all residents who are entitled to work in Canada.
Registration
Drop-in centre. Register in-person. No referrals or appointments required.
